I am a Ph.D Candidate at Cornell University in French Studies. My research interests involve the cross-section of Vietnamese and French literature, Vietnamese intellectual history in the early twentieth century, and autobiographical or memorial writing. For the school year of 2016-2017, I am affiliated with University of Paris VIII, working as a lectrice in the Département d’Études des Pays Anglophones (DEPA) and doing research for my dissertation.
I earned my B.A. in French and Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley. I spent a year in New York City for a transitional M.A. Program at The Institute of French Studies, New York University. In past summers, I attended language programs at University of Wisconsin, Madison (SEASSI), and Middlebury College (The Language School).
I was born in Lâm Đồng, Vietnam, and spent most of my time growing up in San Diego, California.
