Grad student in the Communication, Rhetoric, and Digital Media PhD program at North Carolina State University. Currently engaged with: media history, encyclopedias, Foucault, Ramon Llull, sociology of scientific knowledge, science studies, and a few projects on Wikipedia including a course on/about the site.
Other good stuff I'd like to do more with or learn more about, but which are too far outside the scope of current projects: "new materialisms," hacktivism, everyday aesthetics, game studies, game design, internet policy, the art of memory, intersections of mysticism and technology, and the cultural and practical developments of all that falls under the umbrella of "transhumanism."
One of my main attractions to HASTAC was/is the possibility of starting conversations about any and all of these subjects with other interested people--whether expert or dabbler--so messages/emails are welcome.
