Roz Thalken is a first year Masters student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, studying English Literature and pursuing a certificate in Digital Humanities. Her research is specifically focused on text mining and data analysis, as well as post-colonial theory. She has been a member of the Nebraska Literary Lab for the past three years, where she has assited with research on topics ranging from sentiment analysis to gendered agency in 19th Century literature. She also spent her undergraduate career creating the George Eliot Review Archive, as well as working on the initial versions of a George Eliot Archive. Finally, Roz is a firm believer in aiding the development of literacy throughout her local community, and coordinates the Writing Lincoln Initiative's elementary aged writing club at the Malone Community Center, directly assisting at-risk youth in the Lincoln area.
