Currently a junior at Kenyon College in Gambier, OH. For the fall semester, I am in Chicago, IL, participating in the ACM Newberry Library Seminar. At Kenyon, I'm an American Studies major, DJ for the campus radio station (wkco.kenyon.edu), a Digital Resource Assistant for the Kenyon Gullah Digital Archive, a lifeguard, a pretty avid runner, and an enthusiastic patron of The Gambier Grill. I very much enjoy the outdoors, the ocean, public lands, and transportation. I spent this past summer (2014) as a Safety and Risk Management Intern at Valley Forge National Historical Park, in Pennsylvania; in 2012, I spent 5 months working on the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater as an apprentice; in 2013 I interned at one of Maine's most active land trusts, Kennebec Estuary Land Trust; and spent some time with the Friends of Cobbossee Watershed, in Augusta, Maine, driving the organization's boat, the Otter II.
