Personal Information
I received my bachelor and master’s degrees of Archaeology in Italy, at the university of Rome “La Sapienza”. Then, I attended a three years specialization School in Medieval Archaeology. Before coming in the U.S., I was involved in several excavation projects in Corsica (France) and Italy. I started my Ph.D. at the University of California Merced, World Cultures and History program, in 2008. Since then, I had the opportunity to participate at projects of 3D digital Archaeology in the city of Xian (China) and at Chatalhoyuk (Turkey). My main research focus is the use of 3D virtual reproduction in research, education, and communication in archaeology.
