I am a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Religious Studies at Georgia State University. I have a Ph.D. in Religion from Emory University, where I specialized in early Jewish Hermeneutics. I also have a M.A. in Religions of Western Antiquity and a B.A. in Greek and Latin from Florida State University. My research explores the ways that common, cognitive experiences have influenced how Jews and Christians throughout history have interpreted the Bible. I am also interested in the ways that multisensory experiences and modern technologies can facilitate learning in the religious studies classroom.
