I'm a Ph.D. Candidate at Stony Brook University in the Department of Cultural Analysis and Theory. My research focuses on the media archaeology and cultural history of 19th and 20th century U.S. media and technology, specifically computers, video games, and domestic machines and spaces. My work is informed by methodologies plied from media archaeology and critical materialism. Corollary interests include queer and feminist studies, social media and internet culture, game studies, and visual culture.
I hold positions as the Editorial Assistant to the Journal of Visual Culture and the Assistant to the William A. Higinbotham Game Studies Collection.
