Brief Bio:

I received a doctorate in French history from the University of Ottawa in 1991 and have been involved in digital humanities since the mid-1980s. Lead developer and coordinator of ARTFL's open source text analysis systems, including PhiloLogic, PhiloMine, and PAIR/PhiloLine, which are used by a number of teams. Currently working on applications of topic based text segmentation to large document collections, such as the Archives Parlementaires.
