Lisa studies the humanities and technology. She is a postdoctoral fellow in the digital humanities at MIT.

Full Bio: 

Lisa Tagliaferri is a postdoctoral fellow at MIT and holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the Graduate Center (CUNY). Her dissertation, Lyrical Mysticism: The Writing and Reception of Catherine of Siena, addresses the texts of the mystical 14th-century writer Catherine of Siena. More broadly, her work deals with the digital humanities, access to information, and educational communities and networks. Lisa has a background in the computer sciences, having earned an MSc from the University of London, with a thesis on researching and building educational games. She is an Engineering Technical Writer, helping people learn to code in Python, and has previously taught computer science and humanities courses at the undergraduate level.
