I am a Chicana literary studies scholar who works at the Recovering the US Hispanic Literary Heritage (Recovery)/US Latino Digital Humanities program (USLDH) at the University of Houston (UH). I received my Ph.D. in English, with a focus on Chicanx literature at Rice University. My academic interests include: Chicanx studies, US Latinx studies, US-Mexico border literature, American literature, class analysis, affect theory, postcolonial theory, WOC feminism, working-class literature, the digital humanities, and public humanities.
