Brief Bio: 

Lindsay is an Assistant Professor at The University of Iowa School of Library and Information Science. She earned her Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Library and Information Science. Prior to her doctoral studies, Lindsay also earned a MLIS with a focus in Archives, Preservation and Records Management and a BA in Film Studies with a related area in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh. Her professional experience as a video-technician and personal interest in filmmaking and photography have shaped her academic interest in the preservation of visual media, both analog and digital, and the recordkeeping practices of media creators.
