Liza Potts is an associate professor in the department of Writing, Rhetoric, and American Cultures at Michigan State University. At MSU, she is the Director of WIDE Research and the Co-Founder of the Experience Architecture Program. Her research interests include digital rhetoric, participatory culture, and social user experience. She is the Past Chair of ACM’s SIGDOC and a leader in Women in Technical Communication. Her work has been published in Technical Communication Quarterly, Journal of Business and Technical Communication, Technical Communication, and Participations: Journal of Audiene and Reception Studies. Her book Social Media in Disaster Response was published by Routledge. Her edited collection, Rhetoric and Experience Architecture, was co-authored with Michael Salvo.
