Karin Patzke is a PhD candidate in Science and Technology Studies at Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute. Her research is focused on legal and environmental history. Her dissertation examines property law and environmental conservation efforts on private lands in Texas. Her previous research, completed at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, investigated cultural heritage collections and the transition of such objects to digital formats.
