Kathryn Headley graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors from Syracuse University in 2013. Following graduation, Kathryn took a year-long fellowship in the Laboratory of Paul Wade studying the chromatin remodeling complex NuRD through the National Institutes of Health Intramural Training Award Program. Kathryn is currently a second year in the Genetics and Molecular Biology PhD program at University of North Carolina in the laboratory of Dr. Nate Hathaway and is studying small molecule reactivation of Oct4 utilizing the Chromatin in-vivo Assay System. Kathryn is a National Science Foundation Scholar and the Co-Deputy Attorney General of the University of North Carolina Graduate School Honor Court.
