On Look Films is currently in post-production on the documentary film portion of UNTITLED: Voices and Faces of the Adhan: Cairo, a multimedia documentary and archiving project about the adhan, the Muslim call for prayer in Cairo. Anna has been the recipient of numerous grant awards and residencies including support from the National Geographic All Roads Film Project, Lucius and Eva Eastman Fund, Hartley Film Foundation, George Sugarman Foundation, New York Studio Program, and the Wilder Traveling Scholarship. Although inspiration for her work has always come from her fascination with culture, Anna’s experience in the Middle East has moved her to work with film as a tool for increasing awareness of social and cultural issues globally. Anna formed On Look Films in 2008 with Rodion Galperin to foster projects that promote cultural understanding through stories that bridge the gap across cultural divides.
