Personal Information

Brief Bio:

I am a Ph.D. (ABD) candidate in the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, at the University of Dundee (Dundee, Scotland.) My dissertation, ‘Memories of the Struggle – Representations of Political Violence in the Highlands of Scotland and the Pacific Northwest of the United States,’ will be defended in summer 2018. I work in the fields of digital humanities, fine art practice, social movement studies, women’s and gender history, and collective memory studies.

I believe that digital media can be used to capture and convey emotive narratives and contested histories. In my academic work and digital practice, I explore the covert silences that surround gendered political violence.
