Personal Information

Brief Bio:

I am PhD student majoring in Rhetoric and Professional Communication at the English Department/ New Mexico State university. As a TA there, I teach courses of Rhetoric and Composition, Writing in the Humanities and Social Sciences, Technical and Scientific Communication, and in spring 2017 I will teach Advanced Composition: Documentary Filmmaking as Composition. In my teaching I implement a project of using multimedia composition as a method of resistance, activism and social change. For more details about the project please visit my website.
In my dissertation research, I am constructing a theory of the sense of agency in activist movements in online spaces, where I use the Egyptian revolution, and the Black Live Matter movement as cases to help me construct that theory.
