Jeremy Sarachan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Media and Communication at St. John Fisher College and the director of the program in Digital Cultures and Technologies. He studies techniques for teaching coding to K-16 students and others pedgagocal concerns related to the field of media and communication. He is also a linear and interactive documentary filmmaker. His articles have been published in the Journal of Gaming and Virtual Worlds. Journal of Interactive Learning Research, and Journalism and Mass Communication Educator. He has also published book chapters on Doctor Who fandom, course management systems and open source philosophies, and Facebook profile pictures.
