Jessica S. Manuel
Jessica is a PhD Student in Clemson University's Rhetorics, Communciation, and Information Design program. She earned her M.A. in English Literature from San Francisco State University in May of 2011. Her thesis, “The Anti-Psychoanalytic Self and the Problematic Sign Systems of Reality,” discusses Haruki Murakami’s Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World through Gilles Deleuze’s and Felix Guattari’s theoretical paradigm put forth in "Anti-Oedipus: Capitalism and Schizophrenia." She earned her B.A. from The Master’s College where she majored in English and minored in Theological Studies.
Jessica offers adult literature and philosophy courses at Book Oblivion.
