Is currently a 4th year PhD candidate of Spanish cultural studies at Arizona State University. Her dissertation will focus on digital works written and created by female authors and artists from a transatlantic perspective. Her research interests include digital literature, digital publishing, electronic literature, experimental literature, video art/performance and installation, women's studies, foreign language learning and pedagogy, and digital humanities.
Jennifer Byron is orginally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She obtained her BA in Spanish and Secondary Education from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York and then her MA in Spanish (literature) from Arizona State University. She is currently a doctoral candidate working toward her degree in Spanish cultural studies with an emphasis in digital humanities. Her research interests include e-literature, experimental narrative, digital narrative, women's studies, gender studies, foreign language pedagogy, and contemporary Spanish literature.
