Brief Bio:

Holly is a PhD student in ASU's Writing, Rhetorics, and Literacies program, and a Teaching Associate for the English Department. She serves on the ASU Writing Programs committee as a Teaching Associate representative, and works with the Graduate Students of English Association board. Her research interests include rhetorical theory and intersectional feminism, and how the associated topics and considerations figure into a variety of public discourses.
Holly is a regular participant in academic conferences and professional organizations, including the Rhetoric Society of America, Conference on College Composition and Communication, and HASTAC. Recently, she completed Graz University's "GUSEGG" program in Seggau, Austria, an interdisciplinary seminar series and "think tank" connecting scholars from across the globe. In her "spare time," Holly trains for distance running, and further develops her Star Wars-based metaphors for rhetoric.
