Sarah Hamid is an MA candidate in Media Studies at the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication and serves as the current Webmistress for the Fembot Collective. Her research broadly considers the epistemological ramifications of big data and networked science; questions of capture, curation, and the constitution of 'knowledge'. More specifically, she is interested in North/South information flow, the architecture of open access data systems, and the economies of power therein. ​
