Full Bio:

Gretchen Panzer is an undergraduate student at St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI, where she is majoring in English and Women's and Gender Studies. Her academic interests include feminist literary criticism, queer studies, poetry, and Victorian literature.

Gretchen currently works as a consultant in the college's writing center; as an intern for the St. Norbert Collaborative, the college's center for undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activities; and as an editorial intern for Sigma Tau Delta, the international English Honor Society. She recently completed a two-year research fellowship under the direction of Dr. John Pennington, editor of North Wind: A Journal of MacDonald Studies. This fellowship led to an exciting digital humanities project: creating an online version of the full journal archive and linking this archive to the MLA International Bibliography. The North Wind archive can be viewed at www.snc.edu/english/nwarchive.html

After graduation, Gretchen hopes to pursue a dual PhD in English Literature and Women's Studies.
