Graeme Harper is director of the international creative collaboration laboratory COLLAB, Professor of Creative Writing, Chair of www.creativeuniversities.com and Director of the International Center for Creative Writing Research (www.iccwr.org). A novelist and short story writer, he also has interests in new technologies and his recent article on the death of digital and the rise of what he calls synaptic technologies was published in Campus Review in June 2010. He launched the global Virtual Arts Studio in Alabama in March 2010, with colleagues from UM, RIT and McNeese, and hosted the international Future University e-event in April 2010, also with fine colleagues from UM and around the world. His latest books are "On Creative Writing" (MLM, 2010) and, writing as Brooke Biaz, his novel "Camera Phone" (Parlor 2010).
