PhD student at the Tetherless World Constellation at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. My interests fall at the nexus of technology, policy and human social behaviors. My background is in communication/media studies and now cognitive psychology. I have extensive industry experience in the technology sector as well as several years working in public policy on both the state and federal levels. My current research focuses on whether and how individual, distributed psychological capabilities shape cultural knowledge. Specifically, I am exploring how individual's constitute privacy in highly networked societies.
