Brief Bio:

I'm a first year student in the Graduate History Program at MSU. I study China in the 20th century, focusing on women's history, and the formation of sexual identity and community. Currently, my research is looking to identify how gender affected women activists during the Tiananmen demonstrations. I'm also interested in Feminism and women's rights more broadly in Asia, and the development of sexual identity in Germany during the 1910's and 20's.
