Ergin Bulut is a doctoral student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His interests are social theory, digital labor, video games and education. He has a Masters degree in Modern Turkish History from Bogazici University in Turkey. He has published on various subjects including education and cultural studies, cognitive capitalism and child labor in Turkey. He has also various translations of prominent thinkers including Michael Apple and Aijaz Ahmad. Ergin is currently working with the Global Studies in Education Program at the University of Illinois and in the editorial board of Qualitative Inquiry.
