I design learning experiences for teens and teachers using digital technologies. I am most interested in seeing how digital literacies intersect with STEAM learning. Current projects include working with designers and researchers to develop STEAM workshops and design challenges for teens through the use of digital tools and online communities such as DiscoverDesign.org. Other programs I've developed concentrate on sound design as lens through which learners can better engage with the field of anthropology, live broadcasts into schools featuring the real life science that happens at The Field Museum, and mobile games focused on game design and science. I've worked on programs like “I Dig Science” - a paleontology-based camp taking place in Second Life, “Digital Planet” - a movie-making and digital storytelling workshop for teens. I really love doing what I do. Edge received his BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Humanities, Marketing and Music from the University of Central Florida.
