Deb Streusand is a first-year PhD student in English at the University of Texas at Austin. Her primary research interest is in early modern drama, particularly how the early modern dramatic text operates in performance. Within the digital humanities, she is particularly interested in digital editing and annotation of dramatic texts. She is a member of the Machinic Invention project group in the Digital Writing and Research Lab at UT Austin. Machinic Invention investigates the pedagogical applications of microcomputers for the teaching of writing, rhetoric, and literature.
