Don Rodrigues is a doctoral student and Instructor of English at Vanderbilt University. He served as the 2013 HASTAC Scholar for Vanderbilt's Curb Center for Art, Enterprise, and Public Policy. His research interests include media studies, early modern intellectual history, and quantitative approaches to literary analysis.
Don Rodrigues earned a graduate certificate in Gender and Women's Studies and an MA from the University of Rhode Island, where he taught courses for the Departments of English and Writing and Rhetoric through 2012. While at URI, Don was Managing Editor of its literary journal, The Ocean State Review, and organizer of the 2012 Ocean State Summer Writing Conference, which was awarded the Dean's Excellence Award. He holds a triple BA in English, Studio Art, and Philosophy, also from URI. Prior to his MA, Don worked as a Senior Field Organizer for the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force.
