I am a PhD Candidate in English at Saint Louis University specializing in the long British nineteenth century. My dissertation, tentatively titled "Sympathetic Conversions," explores the trope of conversion in nineteenth century realist novels in combination with sympathy and aesthetics. Other interests include poetics and how to employ digital resources as pedagogical tools. I am the creator of the Gerard Manley Hopkin Omeka site (https://gmhopkins.omeka.net/exhibits/show/home/home) and I am currently working as a graduate assistant at the Walter J. Ong, S.J., Center for Digital Humanities where my primary area of specialization is digital textual analysis and data managament.
