Put together special concentration in Interactive Media Studies for my undergrad at Harvard, and now am pursuing a similar Masters after hours at NYU. During the day, I work in corporate strategy at NBCU, focusing on digital projects.
My work (my passion!) is around distributed production - the notion of utilizing and sharing to external resources, rather than attempting to do things by and for oneself. I believe this mechanic has hugely broad implications, from new media literacy, to economics, to consumption, to social structures. A write up of the idea is available here: bit.ly/ThesPost
