Brief Bio: 

Bradley Cavallo is a PhD candidate in Italian Renaissance and Baroque Art History. He studies at Temple University studying with Dr. Tracy Cooper, Dr. Marcia Hall, and Dr. Ashley West. Bradley’s publications have focused on 17th century Jesuit intellectual activities at the Collegium Romanum (i.e. Athanasius Kircher), and 14th-15th century, north-central Italian perception, reception, and adoption of Islamic aesthetics. His PhD dissertation investigates the rhetorical and symbolic meaning of oil paintings on metal and stone supports made in 16th-17th century Florence, Rome, and Colonial Mexico.
