Annie Fee is a PhD candidate in the Department of Comparative Literature / Cinema and Media Studies Program at The University of Washington. Her research in Paris has been funded by an Entente Cordiale Fellowship, a Chester Fritz Fellowship and a Cinémathèque Française research associate position. Her dissertation is entitled: Cinephiles and Movie-Fans, a Counter-History of French Film Culture 1918-1925. She has been awarded a 2014 Simpson Center Digital Humanities Commons Summer Fellowship to complete a comprehensive and interactive map of Parisian cinemas in the 1920s.
