Annette Joseph-Gabriel
Personal Information
Annette Joseph-Gabriel is a third-year graduate student in the French program at Vanderbilt University. Her research interests include questions of history and memory in Antillean literature. Her most recent project focuses on literary texts and legal documents in the context of the French and Haitian revolutions, and the conceptualizations of racial and national identity contested and reshaped through translation. She is also interested in the use of new technologies in second language teaching and learning.
