Angel Lemke is from Columbus, Ohio. Her dissertation project, tentatively titled "The Dandy and the Redneck" is focused on the intersection of class and sexuality. She recently presented work on dandyism and queer fashion blogging at NWSA and on queer temporality and class experience at the University of Minnesota's conference on Attachments: Queer Investments in Capital and Globalizations. She was thrilled to be a member of the Global Center for Advanced Studies inaugural seminar, "The Crisis in Higher Education." In her previous work with eTech Ohio, the State of Ohio's now defunct educational technology agency, she served as the state's chief blogger on educational technology policies and trends.
