I am a third year PhD candidate in Composition and Cultural Rhetoric (CCR) at Syracuse University. I have an M.A. in English from California State University, Stanislaus with concentrations in Rhetoric and Teaching Writing and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, and a B.A. in Rhetoric and Teaching Writing from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
My research interests include Feminist Rhetoric(s), institutional rhetorics, labor and policy, experiences of mothers in academe with a focus on single mothers, multilingual writers, translingualism, and writing program administration. Currently, I am working on exploring the intersections between family friendly policy, single mothers in academia, and labor.
