For the month of July HASTAC is teaming up with the Connected Learning Alliance (CLA) to produce a four-webinar series, stemming from the June 17 Aspen Task Force report, on Building Trust in Connected Learning Environments. This series is part of the ongoing conversation around, the HASTAC administered and MacArthur Foundation supported Trust Challenge.

The Trust Challenge funds successful collaborations or “laboratories” where challenges to trust in connected learning environments can be identified and addressed. Successful labs will create scalable, innovative, and transformative exemplars of connected learning that bridge technological solutions with complex social considerations of trust.

What do we mean by "trust" in relation to connected learning? Why we need to create connected learning environments that protect safety & privacy without compromising the ability to learn.
