There is an exciting opportunity for a digital learning expert at a global non-profit with an ambitious mission -- to train 1Mn unemployed youth and place them into promising careers. The organization is called McKinsey Social Initiative (founded by McKinsey & Company in 2014) and the specific initiative is called Generation.
Generation is a global youth employment program that recruits, trains, and places disconnected young adults into middle skill jobs. Operating in 5 countries, Generation has trained over 10,000 people worldwide through 4-12 week long bootcamps. The program utilizes a curriculum which integrates behavioral skills and mindsets into technical skill training. Programs rely on skill application through various types of practice, such as role-plays and simulations, to reinforce critical job skills.
They are seeking a digital learning consultant to advise on the design and help implement a digital and/or blended adult training program for career advancement in retail and adjacent sectors. This will build on the methodologies and existing curriculum that Generation has used to train over 10,000 young adults worldwide through in-person bootcamps.
