We invite everyone--regardless of experience--interested in the intersections of humanities and technology to join us this Friday and Saturday for the second THATCamp at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Faculty, students, staff, librarians, archivists, journalists, technologists, and other interested parties of all skill levels from all over the region will gather again for this "unconference."  We've pre-loaded two Friday workshops to get us started ...
1:10 pm: "Students as Producers: Bringing the Digital into (and out of) the Humanities Classroom," Derek Bruff and Vivian French
2:10 pm: "Mapping Texts: An Experiment in Entity Extraction and Geocoding," Clifford Anderson and Lindsey Langsdon
...and Friday afternoon features Professor Alison Booth of the University of Virginia. Professor Booth will present this year's keynote, "Digital 'Reading' of Narratives in Social Networks" at 3:10 pm. The full group will gather to pitch and select Saturday sessions--click here to learn more
