The Department of Communication at Southern Oregon University seeks applicants for a tenure track, 1.0 FTE position as Assistant Professor in Convergent Media (0.5 FTE) and Academic Coordinator of Rogue Valley Community Television (0.5 FTE), and to contribute to the Center for Emerging Media and Digital Art (eMDA).

The candidate must have experience in teaching, research and creative activity in the areas of film and/or digital media production, new media, social media, online or convergence journalism, content development and distribution and/or media industry business practices, as well as interest and/or experience in curriculum development and supervision of media production and distribution. PhD or MFA required.
