The Department of History at Harvard seeks applications for a preceptor in Digital History. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2013. We are looking for a promising scholar to implement a vision for digital history in the department and beyond. The preceptor will be responsible for offering support and instruction in digital history and for coordinating departmental initiatives in digital research and pedagogy. The preceptor will also be expected to liaise with other sites of digital scholarship and teaching at Harvard, such as the Digital Humanities initiative, the metaLAB, the Center for Geographical Analysis, and the Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning.

The position is for one year and may be renewable, contingent upon performance, enrollments, and departmental needs.
