If you a graduate student or were one, you know that dissertation writing can be a very lonely process, made all the more grueling if you try to go it alone.  Dissertation groups, even or especially those formed with fellow student at other institutions can be very powerful support structures that form lifetime collaborations and friendships.

Join us for a Round Table discussion aboout the the pleasures and advantages of dissertation writing groups, featuring: Jeremy Douglass, Jessica Pressman, Noah Wardrip-Fruin and Mark Marino in discussion with four graduates students, including Sarah Ciston (USC), Max Kreminski (UCSC), Bree Hawkins (SDSU), and Ryan Leach (UCSB).
