PMPlease join us for an Open House event at the Women’s Center, where you can learn more about the SCLP and find out how you can serve. DukeEngage students will help staff a summer program that includes mentoring and teaching work with adolescent girls: Duke students will help middle school girls learn to love books and reading, create stories and documentary photos about their lives, produce digital stories, and gain leadership skills and confidence. DukeEngage students will have
an immersive learning experience in a traditional mountain community as they work to make a difference in the lives of Appalachian girls and young women.
