Nominations open for the Richard C. Bartlett Environmental Education Award

Nominate your favorite high school environmental educator for this award, recognizing teachers that incorporate interdisciplinary approaches and innovative strategies into their curriculum, including (but not limited to) service learning, experiential learning, and integrating environmental education across subject areas beyond science. Teachers of grades 9-12 that have been teaching for at least  five years are eligible; anyone may submit a nomination, and self-nominations are also allowed. The winner will receive a $5,000 prize and two merit winners will receive $750 each.

Nominations are due June 15, 2012, and the winners will be announced in August.
