The Julliard School in New York City is hosting an exciting event on Monday, March 18 that demonstrates the power of virtual learning to extend top-class arts education to students around the country. And, best of all, you can participate in it -- virtually!
At 11 am ET, the Juilliard School in New York City and Connections Education will announce the launch of Juilliard eLearning, the conservatory’s first-ever group of online courses for students in grades K-12. These courses extend Juilliard-structured learning into homes and classrooms, and offer educational institutions an affordable option to keep their K-12 arts programs alive, or enhance their current music programs.
The event will feature a demonstration of the Juilliard eLearning courses; remarks by Juilliard president Joseph W. Polisi, Connections Education Chief Executive Officer Barbara Dreyer, and Joshua Lewis, Board of Directors for Pearson; and a live performance by Juilliard pre-college student Tiffany Poon.
