Information Session on the FHI's new Graduate Digital Scholarship Initiative

Building on our long-standing support for graduate student research and career development, the FHI is launching a new initiative in digital scholarship for PhD students in the humanities and interpretive social sciences. The initiative will allow small teams of graduate students to pursue digital, multimodal publication projects, with each work organized around a "commissioned" piece by a senior scholar in the team's area of focus.  Each project team will receive funding for an intensive workshop with the invited contributor, regular group meetings, research/travel directly related to the project, as well as technical support for 2-3 digital publishing platforms (TBD). We will be seeking proposals that take up transdisciplinary engagements between the humanities and sciences, especially around questions of energy, the environment, and/or life forms. Come to this info session to learn more!
