About the position
The International Academic Forum is seeking a new Editor for the IAFOR Journal of Language Learning. The recent Guest Editor, Dr Bernard Montoneri, and the previous Editor, Dr Ebru Melek Koç, leave behind a sturdy legacy of three successful volumes.
The role of the Editor encompasses the management of the editorial process from start to finish, from the initial paper selection, to the coordination of a smooth and internationally-accepted peer review process, through to the final editing, proofreading and formatting of the text. The Editor should be skilled in the arts of writing, editing, critical assessment and diplomacy.
The International Academic Forum (IAFOR) was founded in Nagoya, Japan, in 2009 as a research organisation, conference organiser and publisher dedicated to encouraging interdisciplinary discussion, facilitating intercultural awareness and promoting international exchange, principally through educational interaction and academic research.

The journal is Open Access with no fees charged to authors. As editor you will have the chance to work with authors and reviewers from all over the world. As an orgqanisation founded on interdisciplinarity, IAFOR and its journals seek editors and contributors who are critical and open to input from fields beyond a narrow definition of language teaching and learning.
