The Sheridan Center for Teaching and Learning at Brown University welcomes applications for an Assistant or Associate Director for Interdisciplinary Teaching Communities depending on experience. As part of Sheridan’s Assessment and Interdisciplinary Teaching Communities hub, this position will take responsibility for an existing portfolio of programs that serve graduate students and faculty including TA Teaching Essentials, the Sheridan Teaching Seminar, and Junior Faculty Teaching Fellows. This position will consult with graduate students, faculty (including postdoctoral scholars), administrators, and staff about evidence-based teaching and learning with a particular focus on working with instructors and teaching assistants from Humanities fields. An earned doctorate or terminal degree in a Humanities discipline associated with a Brown University department is required for this position (Degree completion expected within three months of beginning the position.)
