Livestream of Aspen Task Force Report launch: Watch for exciting news from DML Competition

Stay tuned tomorrow when the Aspen Institute Task Force launches its final report "Learner at the Center of a Networked World." During the livestreamed event, the HASTAC/MacArthur Foundation Digital Media and Learning Competition will be making a major announcement. On Tuesday, June 17, 2014, we will post information about the event and the announcement on HASTAC.org

A message from the Aspen Institute Task Force announced today:

Thought leaders and policy makers are asking—how has the Aspen InstituteTask Force on Learning and the Internet addressed technology in the classroom? What are the ways parents can support their kids (and their community) in improving education? And what's next?

After a year of countless discussions and interviews, and hours of research and writing, we’ve come to some interesting and – we believe – productive conclusions. So we’re now prepared to launch a new vision for learning along with a series of recommendations that will advance that vision.

We’ll be livestreaming a panel discussion tomorrow with co-chairs Maria Teresa Kumar and John Bailey and three other Task Force Members. The livestream will start at 3:30 p.m. EST Tuesday.

Watch HASTAC tomorrow for a link to the livesteam. During the event, the Aspen Institute Task Force will be answering questions from a live audience and the web posed via Twitter, Facebook and Google+ (be sure to use #AspenTaskForce). Or, you can simply send a question to: hello@aspentaskforce.org.

Until then, watch this video outlining the report
